How do I edit my portfolio's information?

If you made a mistake or want to change your portfolio's information, such as name, description, image, etc., follow these steps:

  1. Locate your portfolio under Your Research > Your Portfolio > the name drop-down on the top-left of the page.

  2. Click the "Update" button.

  3. It will take your portfolio private so you can make the changes.

  4. Make the changes you'd like.

  5. Take your portfolio "Public" again by accepting the Terms and the Rules.

How do I change the name that appears on my portfolio?

We ask for your name when you create a Free Stock Card account. By default, that name appears beside your portfolio. However, you can choose a different profile name (public name) should your teacher require you not to use your legal name.

To make the change, visit your profile on the accounts management page and insert a "public" name in the public name slot.

Why my portfolio doesn't show up on the club page?

Your portfolio must have at least one order (stock pick) in it to appear in the club.

How do I edit an order (stock pick) if I make a date or price mistake?

In most cases, extraordinary return is because you manually edited the stock price. The Stock Card platform automatically gets the stock price based on the Buy and Sell date you put. Do not edit the price to $1 or any other value.

To correct your date or buy or sell price mistakes, go to your portfolio, scroll down until you see the portfolio table, and find your order. Locate the "pen" icon and click on it to make the changes.

What are the Official Rules?

Please review the contest's Official Rules (https://stockcard.io/contestrules) for detailed legal information that all participants must follow. Entries that don't comply will be disqualified.

What if I have more questions?

If you have questions regarding the contest, ask them using the live chatbox on the bottom-right corner of the screen on Stock Card.
