Introduction to Portfolio Widget

The portfolio widget lets you take your portfolio with live prices and return calculations outside Stock Card to your website and share it with your followers without extra work.

Stock Card's widgets are perfect for websites, blogs, and forums where you want to share your stock and ETF picks with your audience without the hassle of Google Sheets and screenshots.

Integration is as simple as cutting & pasting a few lines of HTML code into your website where you plan to render the widget.

Advantages of Using Portfolio Widget

Let's say you have a website on Beehiiv, Substack, or ConvertKit and want to give your readers access to your stock and ETF picks.

What do you do now?

  • Make a table? But where do you get the live return calculations!

  • Create a Google Sheet? But you have to manage who has access!

  • Take screenshots of your portfolio? But too much work!

We built a portfolio widget to solve those problems, thanks to a visionary partner-creator, Steve Symington from Bottom Line Investing, who dared to ask us for a widget.

How It Works

There are a few quick steps to get the HTML code and take your portfolio with you:

  1. Create a portfolio on Stock Card or use your existing portfolio.

  2. Get the HTML code on top of the portfolio to take your stock picks to your readers without hassle.

  3. Use the HTML snippet element on your destination website and paste the code.

  4. Let us know when you are live, and we will make announcements and tell our users the good news.

Your Portfolio Widget is live!

We will refresh the widget, prices, and values every 15 minutes during market hours, and you will always have the latest values.

By the way, if you are using any other platform beyond Substack, Beehiiv, or ConvertKit, email partner@stockcard.io or start a live conversation using the chat box on the bottom-right corner of the page. We can whitelist it so you can use the widget.
